On the basis of secondary structure, most of the long polypeptide chains get coiled (or folded) to produce a three-dimensional structure. α-helix is an example of this.
When these structures form tertiary structure called fibrous protein and if has long thin chains (threads), are called globular protein.
Hence, coiled form of fibrous protein is known as globular protein.
