Let the number of Covid patients in Hospitals A and B be x and x + 21 respectively. Then, it has been given that:

200/\x - 152/{\x+21} = 3

{200\x+ 4200-152\x} / {\x(\x+21)} =3

{ 48\x + 4200}/{\x(\x+21)}=3

16\x + 1400 =\x(\x+21)

\x^2 + 5\x =1400 =0

(\x+40)(\x-35) = 0

hence,

\x=35
