Solution:

Weight of liquid 1 per litre

=1000 {gm}

Weight of liquid 2 per litre

=800 {gm}

Weight of mixture per litre

=2 × 480=960 {gm}

Applying alligation rule

\;{\;\text " Quantity of liquid "\; 1}/{\;\text " Quantity of liquid "\; 2}=\;{960-800}/{1000-960}=\;{4}/{1}

Therefore, the liquids are mixed in

Hence, the percentage of liquid
