Let the first, second, and third horses be

respectively. Also, let the length of the racecourse be

{x}

	$(x-11)$	$(x-90)$	from $1^{\text "st "\;}$ condition
	x	$(x-80)$	from $2^{\text "nd "\;}$ condition

Therefore,

\;{(x-11)}/{(x)}=\;{(x-90)}/{(x-80)}

⇒ x^{2}-91 x+880=x^{2}+90 x

⇒ x=880
