Solution:

Explanation: Total length to be cross

=150 {m}+150 {m}=300 {m}

Relative speed of trains

=90+90

=180 {km} {/ } {hr}

=\;{180 × 1000}/{3600}=50 {m} {/} {sec}

∴ Time needed to cross each other

=\;{300}/{50}=6

seconds.
