Solution:

Suppose the point be

{A}(2,7), {B}(4,-1)

and

{C}(-2,6)

{\AB}^{2}=(4-2)^{2}+(-1-7)^{2}=68

{\BC}^{2}=(-2-4)^{2}+(6+1)^{2}=85

{\AC}^{2}=(-2-2)^{2}+(6-7)^{2}=17

Here,

{\BC}^{2}= {\AB}^{2}+ {\AC}^{2}

∴

the triangle is Right angled.
