Calculation
Total work = LCM = 24
Total efficiency = 2 + 1 = 3
Taken time = 24/3 = 8
Total work done by P = 8 × 2 = 16
P completed work = 16/24 = 2/3
∴ Work completed by P is 2/3 of the total work
