Let the present ages of

According to the question,

\;{7 x-10}/{9 x-10}=\;{5}/{7}

⇒ \;\; 49 x-70=45 x-50

⇒ 4 x=-50+70=20

∴ \;\; x=5

Hence, Q's present age
