then the length (in units) of the minor arc BC is

Validate

Solution:

ΔAOB is isosceles triangle.
∴ ∠ OAB = ∠OBA = 70°
∴ ∠ BOC = 70° + 70° = 140° [Exterior Angle property]
Angle subtended by minor arc BC = 140°
Circumference encloses 360° angle.
360° → 9 units

∴140°→9×140°/360°=7/2
