then a factor of

q(p(x))

is

Solution:

Given :

p(x)=2x^2+5x+1

and

q(x)=x-4

⇒q(p(x))=(2x^2+5x+1)-4=2x^2+5x–3

=2x^2+6x-x-3=2x(x+3)-(x+3)=(2x-1)(x+3)

Hence,

(2x-1)

is a factor of q(p(x)).
