If the measures of the angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1:2:3 and if the length of the smallest side of the triangle is 10 cm, then the length of the longest side (in cm) is

Validate

Solution:

Let the longest side be 1 cm.
Given : Ratio of angles = 1 : 2 : 3
∴ Angles are 300, 600, 900
Using sine law of triangle,

1/{\sin 90°}=10/{\sin30°}

⇒1=10×2=20cm

Aliter :
Angles are 300, 600, 900
The shortest side is BC = 10cm.

AC=2BC=2×10=20cm
