Given :

3x+2y=11

⇒x=1/3(11-2y)

For

y=0,x=11/3⇒x > y

For $y=11/2,x=0⇒x∴ I alone is not sufficient.

x–y=2

⇒ x = y + 2
Clearly, x > y
∴ II alone is sufficient.
