Solution:

Given equation of the straight line,

(2+3k)x+(7–2k)y+(4k+3)=0

For y – intercept, we put

x=0

(7–2k)y=–(4k+3)⇒y={4k+3}/{2k-7}

Given :

{4k+3}/{2k-7}=1⇒4k+3=2k–7

⇒2k=–10⇒k=–5
