A pipe can fill an empty tank in 15 hours. Due to a leak at the bottom, the tank is filled in 20 hours. If the tank is full, then in how much time (in hours) will the leak take to empty the tank ?

Solution:

Part of tank emptied by the leak in 1 hour

=1/15-1/20=1/60

∴ The leak can empty the filled tank in 60 hours
