Consider the triangle shown below.The triangle is formed by the given lines as shown in the figure.
The triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle.
Therefore, the incentre lies on the median to base.
Also D is the midpoint of BC. Hence, OD is the median to the base BC .
Therefore, the incentre lie on Y -axis.
