At x =1,
LHL = 5 and RHL = −1
So, the function is discontinuous at x =1,
At x = 2,
LHL = 2 and RHL = 1

So,

At x =1,
LHL = 5 and RHL = −1
So, the function is discontinuous at x =1,
At x = 2,
LHL = 2 and RHL = 1
So, the function is discontinuous at x = 2.
As a>b,
a=2,
b=1
So,
3a−b=5
