Given:
Price of [4 shirts + 7 jeans] = 6900
Price of [6 shirts + 11 jeans] = 6900 + 3900
Calculation:
Let the cost of one shirt and one jeans be ‘x’ and ‘y’ respectively
According to the question
4x + 7y = 6,900 ------(1)
According to the second condition,
6x + 11y = 6,900 + 3,900
⇒ 6x + 11y = 10,800 ------ (2)
Solving equations (1) and (2) simultaneously we get,
⇒ x = 150 and y = 900
∴ The cost of one jeans is Rs. 900
