The ratio of Rs.1 , 50 paise and 25 paise coins is 5 : 7 : 9.
Total money in bag = Rs. 430
Calculations:
Let the number of Re.1 be 5x
50 paise coins be 7x,
And 25 paise be 9x
We know that,
Rs.1 = 100 paise
⇒ Rs. 430 = 43000 paise
The given data can be written as follows:
(1×100×5x)+(50×7x)+(25×9x)=43000
⇒ 500x+350x+225x=43000
⇒ 1075x=43000
⇒ x=

⇒ x = 40
Now, we have to find the number of 50 paise coins = 7 × 40 = 280
∴ The number of 50 paise coins is 280.
