Speed of the boat in still water =35km∕hr
Speed of the current = 15km∕hr
Speed of the boat downstream =35+15=50km∕hr
We know that,
Time = Distance ∕ Speed
⇒ Time taken by the boat to travel a distance of 190 km downstream =190∕50=3.8hrs
∴ Time taken by the boat to travel a distance of 190 km downstream =3.8hrs
