Calculation:
Let the number be 3 x and 4 x
LCM=72
⇒3×4×x=72
⇒12x=72
⇒x=6
Required sum =3x+4x
⇒ Required sum =3×6+4×6
⇒ Required sum =18+24
→ Required sum =42
∴ The sum of two numbers is 42.
