Andhra Pradesh Government launched Anna Canteens across the state to provide subsidised food to urban poor. These canteens intend to tackle hunger in urban areas. The canteens will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner at 5 rupees a meal and will be run by Akshaya Patra Foundation.
