Mention any two circumstances when a Bank can refuse payment of a cheque.
Solution:
A bank can refuse payment of a cheque under the following circumstances :
(i) When the funds to the credit of the drawer are not sufficient to make payment of the cheque.
(ii) When the cheque is post-dated and is presented for payment before the date it bears.
