Tears :
(i) It prevents dryness by coating the surface of eyes as well as protecting it from external irritants.
(ii) It lubricate and smooth the surface of our eyes.
(iii) Tears contains a substance called Lysozyme an antiseptic to prevent invasion and infection by microbes.
