When ammonium hydroxide solution is added to it, it gives chalky white ppt. of lead hydroxide. On addition of excess of ammonium hydroxide, the ppt. is insoluble.	When ammonium hydroxide solution is added to it, it gives gelatinous white ppt. of zinc hydroxide. On addition of excess of ammonium hydroxide the ppt. is soluble.
