solution to both the solutions. White ppt. observed with

{\Zn} ( {\NO}_3) _2

solution which is soluble in excess of

{\NaOH}

. Whereas white ppt. observed with

{\Ca} ( {\NO}_3) _2

which is sparingly soluble in water.
