Solution:

2 π r=n λ

For second excited state

(n=3)

r=0.529(n)^2 Å

=0.529(3)^2

⇒ 2 π(0.529)(3)^2=3 λ_2

For third excited state

n=4

r=0.529(4)^2

⇒ 2 π(0.529)(4)^2=4 λ_3

⇒ \;{3 λ_2}/{4 λ_3}=\;{(3)^2}/{(4)^2}

\;{λ_2}/{λ_3}=3: 4
