Potential due to charge at A,
VA=14πε0−q(r+a)
Potential due to charge at B,
VB=14πε0+q(r−a)

∴ Potential at point P,
V=VB+VA
∴ Net Potential at P
=q4πε0[−1(r+a)+1(r−a)]
