Question : 9 of 29

Marks: +1, -0
What is the degree of the following differential equation?
5x (dydx)2−d2ydx2 - 6y = log x
Solution:
Given differential equation is 5x (dydx)2−d2ydx2 - 6y = log x
In the above equation the highest order derivate is d2ydx2 and its power is 1.
Thus, the degree of differential equation 5x (dydx)2−d2ydx2 - 6y = log x is 1
