Solution:

Given,

a↖{→}

xi↖{\^}+2j↖{\^}-zk↖{\^}

and

b↖{→}

3i↖{\^}-yj↖{\^}+k↖{\^}

are equal vectors.
∴

xi↖{\^}+2j↖{\^}-zk↖{\^}

3i↖{\^}-yj↖{\^}+k↖{\^}

⇒ x = 3 , y = - 2 , z = - 1
∴ x + y + z = 3 + (- 2) + (- 1) = 0
