Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma.
Two types of pollination are :
(i) Self Pollination : When the pollen grain from the stamens of a flower falls on the stigma of the same flower, then self pollination occurs.
(ii) Cross Pollination : When pollen grains from the stamens of a flower falls on the stigma of another flower, of the same plant or different plant, then cross pollination occurs.
